Introduction

Alloy-Mica Zero α® is a kind of inorganic material, which in appearance of flake under microscope, with the feature of high aspect ratio and low hardness. For different organic compatibility, the surface of flakes is treated with various silane as coupling agent; then special features of this product is able to be compatible to aromatic polymers, ex. Nylon6, Nylon 66, Nylon HTN, Nylon 46, PPO…etc.


★To improve dispersion characteristic in compound system.
★To enhance the properties like: HDT, Flame Retardant, heat conductive, anti-yellow aging weathering, and increase flexural strength…etc.

Packing and Storage

Standard package: 25 kgs of Alloy Mica powders packed in PE laminated Kraft paper bag.

Shelf life is up to 180 days if stored in cool and low humidity environment.



Suggestions

Compounding Application:

  1. 1.When using A5630 as filling powder, a twin-screw extruder, which equipped with a side-feeding system in front of extruder, should be applied.
  2. - A5630 powder feed in system via side-feeding system;
  3. - If there is no side-feeding system in the front of extruder, two separated feeders should be prepared that one for resin while A5630 filling powder, the other.

  4. 2. In order to avoid the return flow of fed resin, the upstream temperature of extruder should be 5~10℃ higher than downstream.
  5. 3. A5630 filling powder should be fed in system after the plastic feeding process is stable.
  6. 4. The recommend dosage of A5630 is 12 wt%~35 wt% of composite plastic.
