- Heat Capacity: 0.8 MJ/m3-K
CB-890N, a kind of alloy ceramic material with fine particle size, is composed of ceramic mica powders and Boron Nitride(BN). Several physical properties of CB-890N are advantage to industrial application, especially in plastic related industry; such as high thermal conductivity, high thermal diffusivity, low hardness, and well dispersion in resin.
★To reduce the cost of fillers.
★To improve the dispersion in compound system and increase the maximum dosage amount of fillers.
★To enhance the performances of composite thermoplastic, ex. HDT, heat conductivity, anti-yellow aging, weatherability, and increase flexural strength, etc.
Standard package: 10 kgs of Alloy
Ceramic Mica-BN powders packed
in PE laminated Kraft paper bag.
Shelf life is up to 180 days if stored in
cool and low humidity environment.
Compounding Application
1. When using CB-890N as filling powder, a twin-screw extruder, which equipped with a side-feeding system in front of extruder, should be applied.
- CB-890N powder feed in system via side-feeding system.
- If there is no side-feeding system in the front of extruder, two separated feeders should be prepared that one for resin while CB-890N filling powder, the other.
2. In order to avoid the return flow of fed resin, the upstream temperature of extruder should be 5~10℃ higher than downstream.
3. CB-890N filling powder should be fed in system after the plastic feeding process is stable.
4. The recommend dosage of CB-890N is 40 wt%~50 wt% of composite plastic.
